Fuse beads material simulation

Fuse beads

Beads fused with an iron

What you need

Midi: 3 x 3 interlocking 29-peg boards. Hama Mini: Mini pegboards for at least 74 x 74 beads and tweezers (ages 10+). Ironing paper; adult uses the iron.

These supplies describe the Carolers example; open a project for its exact list and sizes.

How to begin

  1. Join boards; follow the blue board boundaries.
  2. Place one bead on each coloured peg.
  3. An adult uses a medium dry iron over ironing paper. Move in small circles without pressing down; open holes are fine.
  4. Let it cool. Flip, cover with ironing paper and fuse the back. Cool flat; follow the bead maker instructions.

Preview: Perler midi, using the matched bead colours. Some chart colours merge. Approximate bead matches. Pick one brand and size; do not mix melting types. Key rows track chart colours with 10% spare. Buy from the merged brand totals in Finishing & help.
