Tunisian crochet

What you need

6 mm Tunisian hook with cable for worsted (adjust to swatch gauge); yarn in nearest DMC shades; separate bobbins.

How to begin

1. Chain 76; pick up 75 loops from the second chain. The hook loop makes 76 stitches.
2. Later rows: skip the first bar. Use each next front bar; work the last stitch under both edge strands.
3. Use one bobbin per colour area. Draw up new-colour loops with that yarn; cross strands at the back.
4. Return: pull through 1, then 2 at a time. At a colour edge, switch yarn with 1 old-colour loop left, before the next pair.

One square = one TSS forward/return pair. Forward: right to left. Return: left to right. Do not turn. Work background cells; use a bobbin per colour area. Yarn amounts are planning estimates; read Finishing & help for setup, rates and other weights.
